UCU Institute of Leadership and Management invites civic activists and media representatives to take part in an educational conference "CitizenLab: Responsible Citizenship Laboratory" on Saturday, June 30. Within the framework of the conference, there will be a public lecture by Oleksandr Solontay, an expert of the Institute of Political Education, three parallel discussions on strategic planning, critical thinking, and trust, presentation of interesting projects of the Donetsk region public activists, as well as an exchange of thoughts and ideas over coffee. The event will be held in the city of Kramatorsk at the address: Avangard-Hall, K. Hampera street, Bernadskoho Garden.
This event is the final one in the framework of the project of the same name, implemented by the UCU Institute of Leadership and Management together with such social action hubs and public organizations as "Druzi" (Konstiantynivka), "Vilna Khata" (Kramatorsk), "Khalva" (Druzhkivka), "Lampova" (Pokrovsk), MOVE and NovoSkhid (Novohrodivka).

"Our project is aimed at helping public activists in the Donetsk region to influence the development of their region more effectively. Over 100 people have already taken part in the training program "Workshop of Active People" in 5 cities of the Donetsk region – Druzhkivka, Kramatorsk, Konstiantynivka, Pokrovsk, and Novohrodivka – following which, they worked on solving problems in their cities. The final conference in Kramatorsk will be a great opportunity to share the experience with other active inhabitants of the region and to exchange ideas and skills for the sake of creating a community of responsible citizens and building new partnerships," said Solomiia Maksymovych, CitizenLab project manager.
