Academy of Leadership "Choose your future"

 

 

To develop personal goals and individual skills for independent life in children who are studying in boarding-schools and living in orphanages.

 

·        To practice and enhance effective communication skills, self-presentation, confidence, teamwork and time-management through interactive exercises, using methods from “Leadership basics.”   

 

·        To provide and explain methods of setting vocation or professional goals and to learn appropriate ways of developing skills towards achieving these  through the workshop “Choose your future.”

First level – the training course “Leadership basics” contains 8 interactive topics – it’s aim is to show to teenagers the possibility of personal development through understanding and responsible behavior, communication skills, finding common language with children of the same age, possibility of managing self and others tin activities.

The most active graduates have a possibility to become trainers’ assistants for upcoming trainings for their schoolmates.

Second level – social workshop “Choose your future” – contains 10 practical courses with representatives of some professions -its aim is to form a vision for one’s own future, develop talents and get applicable skills, which are needed by those who have not lived within families, and in a friendly atmosphere to help towards making one’s decision about a future vocation and profession.   

 

The program “Choose your future!” is oriented towards personality development. It is an approach to assist children who lived in Lviv region boarding school or orphanages and are embarking on an independent life to develop skills that can launch them towards becoming full-fledged members of society.
