Human Systems Dynamics Adaptive Action Lab
The world is getting smaller every day, but issues can seem larger and more complex and, at times, it can feel like the chaos is bigger than you are. What you need are powerful (but simple) solutions. Rooted in chaos and complexity theory, Human Systems Dynamics (HSD) helps you recognize the unpredictable, emergent environments of today’s social and economic systems. HSD gives you models for understanding your world and methods to enable you to act and change it.
If you are in the business of making a change, resolving conflict or helping teams and individuals work more effectively then HSD is a simple, but powerful approach that will enable you to take informed action that delivers results.
Leaders of nonprofit organizations, social entrepreneurs, managers of project offices of reforms, negotiators, security and risks experts, innovators, coaches, scrum and Agile experts, as well as everyone interested in changes, growing complexity of the society and future could benefit from this program.
The 2-day Adaptive Action Lab mixes HSD theory and practice. You should bring with you an issue (small or large) which you are finding difficult to ‘fix’ or solve. In the Lab, we will work in short cycles of theory and application so that by the end of the two days you will have an understanding of HSD’s key principles, insights into your issue and options for your next wise action.
